Private Yoga Lessons
Private yoga lessons are an ideal way to deepen your existing practice or to learn the basics in an unimposing environment. Each class is structured with your particular goals in mind and can vary from the restorative to the vigorous, depending upon your needs.
Even outside of a yoga practice, directed stretches on the yoga mat are an excellent compliment to bodywork. Specific postures are used to undo some of the problems presented in a bodywork session. This sort of "postural re-patterning" provides the client with the means to continue the benefits of their session between visits, as well as improving their awareness of what happens in their own bodies which leads to improved health and feelings of self-empowerment.
Your instructor, Tara Hedges, is a Registered Yoga Teacher with Yoga Alliance and has practiced yoga in a variety of traditions for over 20 years. She uses her vast experience as a bodyworker to safely facilitate the proper body mechanics and alignment.
